What peanut granules are
Peanut granules are roasted peanuts (Arachis hypogaea) reduced to a uniform 2-4 mm grit. Roasting develops the Maillard aromas that give the typical toasted, slightly buttery flavour, while the calibrated grain size guarantees an even distribution on cakes, gelato cones and plated desserts. Unlike whole or halved peanuts, the granule format spreads in a thin regular layer and adheres better to creams, glazes and chocolate coatings.
