Data Protection — Addendum for Switzerland (FADP)

Applicable law
We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), in force since 1 September 2023. Where the policy below refers to the GDPR or EU law, for Swiss users such references are to be understood as references to the FADP.
Disclosure of data abroad
We use services from providers based in the United States (including Google, Meta, Microsoft, LinkedIn, TikTok) and in the EU. Transfers to the USA take place on the basis of the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework recognised by the Federal Council or, where the provider is not certified, on the basis of standard contractual clauses recognised by the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). Transfers to EU/EEA countries are based on the Federal Council's adequacy decision.
Rights of data subjects
Pursuant to art. 25 et seq. FADP, every person has the right to obtain information about the data processed about them, to have it rectified or deleted, to object to the processing and to request its delivery in a common electronic format. Requests should be sent to [email protected]; we generally respond within 30 days. You may also contact the FDPIC (www.edoeb.admin.ch).
Data retention
Contractual and accounting data are retained for 10 years in accordance with legal obligations (art. 958f CO). Data used for marketing purposes are retained until consent is withdrawn or objection is raised. Browsing data are retained for the periods indicated in the cookie policy.
