Heavy-duty cleaning for the professional kitchen
The 60 g stainless steel scouring sponge is the go-to tool for heavy-duty cleaning in professional kitchens. The dense mesh of interwoven INOX wire tackles burnt-on grease, carbonised residue and limescale on pots, pans, grills and griddles, restoring shiny surfaces in just a few passes. The pack of 10 ensures continuous replacement at the washing station.
Why stainless steel
Unlike ordinary mild-steel wool, stainless steel does not rust in contact with water and detergents. This means sponges that last over time, leave no ferrous residue on dishware and keep their abrasive power consistent shift after shift. A more hygienic and, in the long run, more economical choice.
Technical specifications
Each sponge weighs 60 g and offers a generous abrasive mass, able to reduce washing times even on the most stubborn encrustations. The pack contains 10 sponges and is supplied in a practical bag. Material: 100 percent stainless steel (INOX).
Uses in the professional kitchen
Ideal for degreasing pot bottoms after long cooking, cleaning oven and salamander grills, removing burnt-on residue from griddles, polishing steel sinks and worktops, and reviving blackened baking trays. Use with a degreasing detergent and hot water.
Usage tips
Always rub in the direction of the steel's brushed finish to avoid leaving marks. Rinse the sponge after use and let it dry in an airy place to extend its life. Do not use on delicate non-stick or enamelled surfaces.
