Over 215 Years of Oleicultural Tradition
Oleificio Zucchi was founded in 1810 in the Lodi area of Lombardy as a family craft business dedicated to seed oil extraction. Six generations later, it remains one of the few major Italian oil producers that is still 100% Italian and family-owned — no outside investors, no corporate group, no compromise on quality.
In 1922, the company introduced industrial refining. In the 1950s, it entered the mass grocery market. In the 1990s, the facility relocated to Cremona on the navigable canal, on a site of 80,000 m². Today, Zucchi produces 1,500,000 litres per day across nine fully automated lines.
The Cantina dell’Olio — Italy’s largest temperature-controlled oil storage facility — holds approximately 5,940 tonnes of EVO oil at a constant 16°C. Because quality is not a claim: it’s a controlled condition.
