Rummo Thick Spaghetti N.5 are durum wheat semolina pasta in the I Classici line, supplied in a professional 3 kg pack. The thicker-than-standard spaghetto holds up to bold, heavy sauces and stays al dente in service. Bronze-drawn and made with the Lenta Lavorazione method, they are built for high-volume professional kitchens.
Rummo and Lenta Lavorazione
The pasta is made by Rummo in Benevento, a pasta maker founded in 1846. Its patented Lenta Lavorazione (slow processing) method controls every stage of mixing, drawing and drying to give the pasta a firm structure and reliable cooking hold, so it does not overcook or stick even when batches are large.
Bronze-Drawn for Sauce Hold
The spaghetti are bronze-drawn, giving a rough, porous surface that grips the sauce instead of letting it slide off. This makes the thick N.5 a natural match for meat ragu, seafood sauces and robust tomato-based dishes where the pasta has to carry a heavy dressing.
