What is Fiordilatte Ciliegina
Fiordilatte Ciliegina is a fresh pasta filata cheese in small 10-gram spheres, made from Italian cow's milk. With a delicate taste and a soft consistency, it is kept in water to maintain its freshness and its characteristic creaminess intact.
The producer and the origin
Made by the Giffoniello dairy, a company with a long dairy tradition rooted in Battipaglia, in the heart of the Sele Plain in Campania. Since 1985, the company has combined ancient craftsmanship with modern technologies to guarantee a product of the highest quality, using carefully selected milk.
Characteristics in the kitchen
The fiordilatte cherries stand out for their sweet taste of fresh milk and their elastic but melting texture. Being preserved in a governing liquid, they maintain perfect humidity which makes them ideal for being consumed both raw and slightly warmed, releasing all their natural aroma.
How it is used in the professional kitchen
Perfect for the catering sector, the 10g cherries are ready to use to enrich buffets, appetizers, large salads and the classic caprese in finger food format. Also excellent for decorating gourmet pizzas raw or to be added at the last minute on hot pasta dishes.
Format and conservation
The product is packaged in a practical 250 g tray, designed to preserve its organoleptic qualities and ensure maximum convenience and zero waste in the kitchen. It must be kept in the refrigerator at a temperature between +2°C and +4°C.
