It is the mild, white version (without paprika), flavoured with fennel and stuffed in a curved natural casing. The Romagnoli sausage is a fresh sausage that takes its name from Villa Romagnoli, the small hamlet of Mozzagrogna where the Sorrentino family began its charcuterie craft. The white (bianca) version contains no paprika, so the natural pale colour of the seasoned pork blend stands out, while fennel gives the aromatic signature. Dolce means mild, with no chilli heat.

The product comes from Mozzagrogna, in the province of Chieti, in the Abruzzo region of Italy. Salumificio Sorrentino carries out the entire production cycle within its own facility in this area.

The company runs its full processing cycle in Mozzagrogna and holds BRC and IFS certifications. The Salsiccia Romagnoli line earned a Red Award at the Merano Wine Festival.
