Super Dipper Fries by Kadi: Swiss Crispiness for Foodservice
Super Dipper Fries by Kadi are frozen, pre-fried potato fries with a crispy Super-Dipper coating, produced in Switzerland from Swiss potatoes. Supplied in a 5 kg carton (two 2.5 kg bags), they deliver 165 kcal per 100 g with 5.3 g of fat and 0.23 g of salt, and are ready in 3.5 to 4.5 minutes in the deep fryer at 175 degrees.
The Producer: Kadi AG, Langenthal
Kadi AG was founded in Langenthal in 1951 as a potato-flake factory and developed over the decades into one of Switzerland's leading producers of chilled and frozen convenience specialties for foodservice and retail. In 1966 Kadi made the first Swiss fries, and the company uses Swiss potatoes for its specialties whenever possible.
The Super-Dipper Coating
The distinctive feature of this line is the Super-Dipper coating: a thin batter that forms a crisp crust during frying. This crust holds the heat inside, keeps the fries crunchy for longer on the plate or in the take-away box, and gives them a sturdy shape that is ideal for dipping into sauces without breaking.
Preparation
For best results fry the fries straight from frozen, without thawing. In the deep fryer set 175 degrees and cook for 3.5 to 4.5 minutes until golden. In a combi-steamer use 200 degrees for 16 to 20 minutes, turning halfway. Salt only after cooking. Do not overload the fryer basket: keep batches small so the oil temperature stays stable and the crust develops evenly.
Professional Uses
Super Dipper Fries are a versatile side in any commercial kitchen: served alongside burgers, hot dogs, grilled meats and fish, or as a generous portion with dipping sauces such as mayonnaise, ketchup, barbecue or aioli. Their dip-friendly shape makes them a strong choice for bars, take-away counters and event catering. A typical professional portion is 130 to 150 g.
