The BuRe butter croissant by San Giorgio is a straight, unfilled croissant made with 24% butter, supplied raw, pre-proofed and frozen at 75 g, 50 per case (3.75 kg). Bake from the proofed state for a rich, buttery, flaky croissant - serve plain or fill with jam, cream or chocolate. Made without hydrogenated fats.

Why Butter and Empty
24% real butter gives the rich flavour and crisp, layered structure of a classic croissant. Supplied empty, it lets you serve it plain or fill it to order, sweet or savoury, after baking.
How to Bake
Proof the pieces, then bake in a preheated oven until golden and well risen. Do not open the oven during baking; serve warm.

Storage
Keep frozen at -18 C; do not refreeze once thawed.
