Embossed Vacuum Bags 25x35 cm: Professional Storage and Sous-Vide
Embossed vacuum bags 25x35 cm (250x350 mm), 90 micron (T10), made of food-grade PA-LDPE, in packs of 100 pieces and cartons of 10 packs (1000 pieces). Compatible with all external suction vacuum sealers thanks to the one-side embossing, and with chamber machines. BPA free, PVC free, suitable for storage and low-temperature sous-vide cooking. The reference format for restaurants, butchers, delicatessens and production labs in Switzerland.
What Embossed Vacuum Bags Are
Embossed (textured) vacuum bags carry a micro-channel pattern on one side: these channels let the air flow out completely even with external suction machines, the most common type in restaurants and home-professional kitchens. Smooth bags only work properly in chamber machines; embossed bags work in both. The PA-LDPE structure combines the oxygen-barrier of polyamide with the weldability and flexibility of low-density polyethylene.
Technical Characteristics
Size 25x35 cm, thickness 90 micron (T10) for high puncture resistance with bones, crusts and hard cheeses. Temperature range from -25 °C to +70 °C for 2 hours and up to +100 °C for 15 minutes: suitable for pantry, refrigerator and freezer storage, sous-vide cooking and bain-marie regeneration. BPA free, PVC free, approved for direct food contact.
Professional Uses in the Kitchen
Vacuum portioning of meat and fish in 0.5-2 kg units for HACCP-compliant mise en place; storage of cured meats and cheeses after opening, extending shelf life 3 to 5 times; sous-vide cooking at 55-85 °C of meat, fish and vegetables; blast chilling and freezing of prepared dishes without freezer burn; marinating in vacuum, which cuts marinating time by up to 50 percent.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
Sealing liquids with an external suction machine (use chamber machines or freeze liquids first); filling the bag over 75 percent of its length, which prevents a clean weld; reusing bags after raw meat or fish contact (single use for HACCP compliance); exceeding 15 minutes at 100 °C during regeneration.
Storage of the Bags
Store the bags in a dry place at room temperature, away from heat sources and direct light. In these conditions the material keeps its mechanical and barrier properties for years, with no expiry constraints typical of food products.
