A semi-hard sheep's-milk cheese studded with whole black peppercorns, under the Bucaro brand, in 250 g portions, 8 per case. The savoury sheep's-milk base and the sharp heat of pepper make it a characterful table and cooking cheese.
How to use it in the kitchen
Serve it on cheese boards and aperitivo where the peppercorns are a talking point, grate or shave it over pasta, risotto and grilled vegetables, or melt it into bakes for a peppery lift. It pairs well with full-bodied reds, honey and pears.
