Frutta Realistica Coffee Bean is a single-portion dessert that reproduces the shape of a large coffee bean. It is a frozen pastry product: the carton holds 6 pieces, for a net weight of approx. 600 g. Simply thaw and serve it as it is, with a surprise effect that brings coffee to the table in the form of a dessert.
The dessert
Each piece has the oval, domed shape of a coffee bean, with the typical groove in the middle and a dark brown, velvety-looking surface. It sits on a gold cake board with a scalloped edge, is protected by a clear dome and is placed in its own compartment inside the carton. The taste combines coffee, chocolate and cream, with a crunchy element from cocoa biscuits, rice and hazelnuts.
Ingredients and allergens
The recipe includes an espresso coffee crunch (19.7%) with coffee powder, cocoa-flavoured biscuits, crispy rice and hazelnuts, followed by white chocolate, dairy cream, partially skimmed UHT milk, milk chocolate, extra dark chocolate, moka coffee paste (4.7%), sponge cake (3.6%), eggs, sunflower oil, fat-reduced cocoa, cocoa butter and food gelatine. The label lists the following allergens: peanuts, cereals containing gluten, nuts, milk, soy and eggs; the sponge cake may contain traces of nuts, soy and eggs.
How to serve
Take the dessert out of the freezer and leave it at room temperature for about 2 hours before serving. Kept at +4 °C, it stays unaltered for 2 days, so you can thaw the quantity needed for service in advance. Serve it directly on its gold cake board or on a dessert plate. The product is subject to natural weight loss.
