Where the Salento Meets the Table

In Casarano, at the heart of the Salento peninsula in Puglia, the Primiceri family has been pressing olives for generations. Founder Marco Primiceri acquired his first mill in a nearby village in 1970, establishing what has become one of the most respected names in southern Italian extra virgin olive oil.

The company produces exclusively 100% Italian extra virgin olive oil, cold-extracted from prized native cultivars: Leccino, Favolosa, Cellina di Nardò and Ogliarola Leccese. No blending. No imported oils. Every bottle traces directly to the groves of the Salento.

Primoljo’s business philosophy rests on four non-negotiable principles: food safety, efficient distribution, contemporary design and deep territorial identity. A standard that has earned them markets across Europe, Japan and the United States.

Forme d'Oro 2024 — Double gold at the international competition "Le Forme dell'Olio": gold for gourmet oils, gold for grape must vinegar. Two first prizes in the same year. A result earned, not granted.

The Product Lines

Favololio

Single-variety EVO from the Favolosa olive, cold-pressed. Intense green colour, medium fruitiness, notes of fresh tomato and almond. The signature product of the house, named after the restored farmstead of grandfather Marco.

Essenza

EVO in a clean, functional bottle designed for professional kitchens and table service. Dosing cap for precision and zero waste.

Extraolivum

EVO with a classic, well-balanced profile — the reliable all-purpose choice for daily kitchen use without sacrificing Italian quality.

Olivum DOP Terra d'Otranto

EVO with Protected Designation of Origin (PDO). The highest certification for Salento olive oil: fully traceable, independently verified.

L'Autentico IGP

EVO with Protected Geographical Indication (PGI). For operators who want to offer guests verified provenance and certified quality on every label.

Specialities

Grape must vinegar (Forme d'Oro 2024), raw grape must, artisan Panmosto, herb-infused condiments from the Salento and a certified organic line.
