What it is

Torta Caprese, pre-sliced, 1.2 kg — the classic flourless-style Neapolitan chocolate-almond cake, made by San Giorgio SpA, Castel San Giorgio (Salerno). IMPORTANT: this specific recipe includes wheat flour and is NOT gluten-free — unlike the traditional Capri version.

Ingredients

Eggs, sugar, almonds (17.8%), butter, chocolate substitute (17.8%), wheat flour, cocoa powder (1.7%), dextrose, raising agents, corn starch, coconut fat, cocoa butter.
