The Cured Meat Tradition of Abruzzo
Three generations of mastery — one commitment: exceptional Italian charcuterie for your kitchen.
Finding cured meats that genuinely elevate your dishes — the kind your guests remember and order again — is a constant challenge for any serious restaurateur. With Salumificio Sorrentino, that challenge disappears.
Founded in 1982 in Mozzagrogna (Chieti) by master butcher Marino Sorrentino, the company is today led by his grandsons Marino and Oreste — carrying forward the same artisanal dedication that defined the first day of production. A family business that understands what professional kitchens demand.
For three generations, at the heart of Abruzzo, Sorrentino has maintained traditional processing methods built on craftsmanship, passion and respect for raw ingredients. The facility spans 56,290 m² and ranks among Italy's most technologically advanced. The entire production cycle is managed in-house: from livestock to slaughter (1,000 pigs per week), through cutting, casing, drying and curing across 4,000 m² of dedicated space. Every single product is tracked with RFID microchip technology — full traceability, zero compromise.
